About the Book

Borough of Churches is a collection of ten stories told in a range of styles and a variety of voices that exemplify the possibilities of fiction in all (or at least several) of its forms. The search for solace of some kind is of central importance in each of these stories as well as the unintended consequences that can result from the attainment or near attainment of one’s most sought after goals.

About the Author

Robert Dumont was born in Oklahoma in 1947 and graduated from Tulsa University. In 1974 he and his wife settled in New York City. They remain there still, residing in the borough of Brooklyn with their two children. His fiction has appeared in Telephone, Innisfree, and Caprice.
