About the Book
Meet Keek-a-poo! He is a puffy pink piglet ready to make his everyday life on the farm special. Through a little pig’s point of view, Keek-a-Poo’s courageous, curious and carefree nature shows us his life on the farm where adventures are never far away. As a child’s first chapter book, this is the beginning of a series to encourage language, laughter and love for reading. “Bravo to a new writer whose innocent characters are here to charm a new generation of tiny readers”.
About the Author
Cynthia began writing from an early age, keeping journals, writing poetry, essays, and stories and writing general prose as she has always found comfort in the written word. As a young writer, she won the Young Playwright Award in 1990 where The Foundation of the Dramatists Guild’s Young Playwright Festival, sponsored and chaired by Stephen Sondheim awarded Cynthia with an Excellence in Playwriting merit. In the following years she won awards for her moving poetry. She also designed an underground magazine called “Haze” as this grassroots Zine (Magazine) gave new writers and artists an opportunity to voice their opinions through the Arts. Though this author has been committed to her craft, she spends her days in New York as an elementary school teacher shaping our youth. Her ambitious nature and writing skills keep her on the forefront as a new and quirky writer to keep an eye on in years to come.
