Domenica Madison Sullivan is an alluring – very intelligent – and ambitious woman. Holding down two jobs - going to school – a devoted mother of three, and one who is inexhaustibly seeking a corporate career. Domenica moves back to the town she grew up in to pursue her dreams. This is when Domenica hits a series of road blocking events in a town that has changed dramatically while she was away. One week after the New York City towers came down, all hell broke lose in her city. In one week, one of her under age children was drugged and raped. Domenica herself was drug from the coffee room while working on her job. The following day, the child who was raped, leg was broken by a group paid by rapist who thought the child told what happened to him. All of this took place within five days, and to top it off, someone paid the local police department to destroy the evidence of the cup of coffee that contained the drug! An event that will make them kill in order to keep it a secret. Domenica was poisoned numerous times as she tried to get law officials help from outside her state, alerting the FBI of the unanswered crimes. Book smart Domenica has no knowledge of all of the people who are a part of this dark lifestyle. It will be her conniving neighbors who takes it up among themselves to forcible introduce and educate her to a secretive dark lifestyle the town she once knew now inhabits.
