About the Author

The author, Mary Angelean Love. Poet and Paralegal. Was raised in beautiful Los Angeles, California along with 8 other siblings. She graduated from Los Angeles High School in 1973, then pursued studies in child psychology and elementary education at Los Angeles City College and the University of Southern California. Transferring to the University of West Los Angeles, School of Paralegal Studies, she graduated in 1986 with paralegal certification in litigation, corporate and real estate law. She developed an interest in poetry and songwriting as a hobby in the late 80's, then started to write seriously in 1990. She is published in several poetry anthologies and is a poet of merit at the National Library of Poetry.

This book, "Mama's House", is dedicated with love to her mother, Mrs. Fannie Mae Love. It is a memorial and testament to mom's recent trials, tribulations and single-minded determination to design and successfully build the home of her dreams before reaching her eightieth birthday. Mama's House is truly a family treasure!
