This is the story of corruption. At the highest level of Government there are some involved in promoting terrorism and other openly corrupt officials using the; Secret Lines of Deception: designed for and only previously used; in times of war or civil unrest; to placate a gullible nation. These individuals using their unique power given by this gullible nation for gain; though not directly promoting actions clandestinely covered; but condoned by them; by active use of corrupt officials through several continents. Culminating; in the downfall in disgrace; of the entire UK Administration and the demise of many. THIS is Trevor’s Story In part two of Secret Lines; we see the REDEMPTION of one.

About the Author

I am Anthony Mcsweeney (TONY) and I live in the South of England with my Wife; this is my second book; the first being Lines of Deceit; which I have to say; it is a good story badly presented. Though possibly still available; on Amazons web site I started writing late in life as I am now fast approaching 62 years old in July 2010; but I am thoroughly enjoying writing so I will continue; with a third book in the summer. I have neither a dog nor cat; just five wonderful Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild; and another due in January; all these Grand and Great Grandchildren keep me well occupied. I hope you enjoy this novel; as much as I have in writing it. I write Secret Line of Deception under the pen name of Jim Burrows; in memory of my Uncle; who was killed in the last war; on HMS Hood. About Secret Lines of deception This is my second novel; which is a complete re-write of my first book and the addition of what was to be the sequel. It is a story of political corruption with the importation of drugs funded by Al Qaeda and involving the breaking out of an IRA terrorist from jail; with the plot taking place in various locations. Including; Ipswich; London; Saudi Arabia; Russia; Germany; Turkey; Paris; Frankfurt; Kiev; and finally Norfolk UK. In part two; we see one of my characters who seemed doomed; in part one; redeemed; but only to fail at the last hurdle and involves the retaliation of Al Qaeda; against those who foiled their plans. Culminating in a last ditch attempt; to destroy both UK security arms and our Fictitious unit; Phantom. In life you may have many friends; though are they but only acquaintances; this is Trevor’s story.Whose friendship with a colleague; who saved his life on one occasion; very nearly cost him it; years later by his actions. It is a fast moving plot from the beginning and I am sure lovers of thrillers; with a twisting plot; will enjoy this book. Jim Burrows
