About the Book

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life," is the Golden Text of the Bible. That fact cannot be argued, for every believer´s born again experience is gained only through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the only way a person can enter into eternal life.

Though given this beautiful truth of all that John 3:16 implies, there is another 3:16 in God´s Word that caught the author´s attention more than 35 years ago. It changed his life forever. That verse is 1Timothy 3:16: "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

The verse firmly gripped the author´s mind. He thought of it over and over, praying about it so many times that God had to send a positive reminder that His Word said "without controversy", and that the revelation was not to be doubted any longer. The matter was settled; it was in the Bible, so it had to be so.

The Mysterious Journey, Revelations of the Godhead, clearly reveals the true, eternal God, and why He chose to reveal Himself to a fallen creation. Mysteries hidden for centuries are clearly revealed for any one to discover.

About the Author

Hershell Eversole was born at Sasafras, Kentucky, May 27, 1933, the son of Abner and Bertha Fields Eversole. God called him into the ministry at an early age, so he devoted his life to God and family. He preached in Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Arizona, where he finally settled down to raise his 8 children. The Southwestern Sonoran Desert and the small mining town of Ajo, Arizona, became his home for 25 years. An awesome love for his desert surroundings developed within him, changing his life forever. He began the 10-year task of writing this book in 1990 After his son suffered a serious industrial accident in 1996, he moved to Colorado, and now lives near that son and grandchildren. He is a devoted grandfather, an active church member, and still travels as an evangelist. He is a song writer, poet, and plays the guitar and keyboard.
