About the Author

I grew up in a West Indian family where my brother and I were always encouraged to read and treat life as an adventure with endless possibilities, and never settle. Now as mother of two beautiful boys, I understand how important it is for us as parents to keep their little minds nurtured. Every day is a new day with new challenges, and I find that teaching my children, learning with them, and watching them get excited to explore new topics makes me feel accomplished as a mom. Reading is so essential from a young age, and that’s why I enjoy writing for the little ones.
