About the Author

Michael Ostrowski was born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts. He received his B.S. from Boston University and his M.A. from Emerson College. A Model Community was Michael's first novel, and he recently completed his second (Lost in the Fog). After more than a decade of living in Los Angeles and then San Francisco, Michael moved to Hawaii in 2012. The people, culture, and overall aloha spirit of the islands have given him so many wonderful stories that will be shared in the future.
