Dancing on the Edge of Chaos is an anthology of short stories and poetry that explore the range of a man’s emotions after divorce. This is not a political or scientific undertaking. There is no argument or reference to statistical data. Just an uninhibited emotional release of that aspect of American social life that has become so confined; the male psyche. It can teach men how to have a voice. Dancing on the Edge of Chaos offers a new perspective, one so vast that solutions to many of the paradoxes that appear to be fixed conditions modern life are made possible. Including the transcendence of gender conflict.

About the Author

Tim Merritt was born in Phoenix Arizona and moved to Oregon at age 21. He married, had a child and divorced. He has spent thirteen years as a soldier in the National Guard and advanced through the ranks of an infantry company to hold the position of staff sergeant. A construction worker, a baker and a groundskeeper for a small military post Tim currently works as a Recruiter in the Portland area and is pursuing a degree in sustainable community development.
