About the Author
About the Author: I was born in New York and started writing as a means of mental catharsis after loosing my oldest child a son, in a vehicular accident during his first day on the job, at the tender age of nineteen in September 1996. I was overwhelmed by thoughts of his short life and many times consumed with indescribable grief. I desperately needed an outlet so I got busy with school and from there I delved into writing. Poems and short stories followed and eventually children’s books, the Handyman being my first publication. I’ve always delighted in writing and learning new words, this has been a joy of mine since grade school.” If you have any comments about my book, please email me at unpolishedpoet@verizon.net.
