Misty Monarch

About the Book

Misty Monarch is a book about the endangered monarch butterfly. The story follows Misty through the annual cycle of flight north to places like Georgia to feed, lay eggs, and reproduce. Misty then returns south to Florida or Mexico where monarchs hibernate.

About the Author

Menlia Trammel, a Georgia native, is a mother, grandmother, and retired teacher. She enjoys reading, reading to children, and encouraging literacy and learning. She has previously published Rob and Rex Prevent a Poaching, the first of a series about endangered animals. Team Up for Turtles, Curiosity, Not Animosity, and The Gift.
