Teach Me a Song and I Won't Go Wrong! This is a book for all parents and educators who want to stimulate the mind of children and/or students about the wonders of reading through music. Lyrics, written to songs with easy and catchy tunes, will make your children and/or students want to sing, sing, and sing. The songs teach phonics, affixes, homophones, nouns, verbs, and comprehension skills, such as sequence, inference, and cause and effect. Adults can teach the songs to children/students and use the storyline to ask multiple comprehension and phonics questions in a relaxed manner that ensures excitement. About the Author

Having taught students at all the elementary grades, Ms. Colleen Merritt White, a Reading Specialist who uses music as one of the many tools to “hook” students, earnestly desires in her quest for educational excellence to make learning to read fun and exciting, especially for reluctant learners, whose minds she has observed from her vast experience are opened and stimulated by music.
