About the Author

I am a 67 year old retired Boeing engineer, who lived the first half of his life in England and the second in America. Once a widower myself, I am now happily remarried. We have four children. The sea and sailing has always been part of my life. I grew up on an island with the wind tugging at my hair and sand between my toes, so it’s not surprising that when I write, the smell of the sea wafts through it. I have had three technical papers published during my professional career. I have also written a children’s story. ‘The only pebbles on the beach’ is my first romance novel.
