About the Author

The authors have had combined experiences of having taught in the public schools of Florida for 57 years, achieved Bachelor and Master’s Degrees from colleges and universities, raised three daughters and three sons to adulthood and afforded each an opportunity to attend and graduate from college, acted as community leaders and speakers, written consecutive weekly columnist commentaries in a public newspaper for over 20 years, authored a book in the public libraries of South Florida, authored several booklets that are in circulation in South Florida, retired for over ten years, individually, and continued active involvement in community activities. Additionally, the authors have had a combined experience of having served in the United States Air Force, received over a hundred honors, plaques, and awards, traveled all over the United States, including Hawaii, traveled to parts of the Orient, Africa, and Europe, and flown over 60,000 miles.
