About the Author
Dr. Antonio Reyes-Guerra was born in El Salvador of a Salvadorean father and an American mother. His early years were spent in England and the United States until a revolution in El Salvador wrote fini to his Fathers Diplomatic career. The family then returned to El Salvador where the author went to college and Dental School. On finishing his Internship and Residency in Oral Surgery he then immigrated to the USA and enrolled in the Graduate School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and on having completed his Post Graduate work he then subsequently enrolled in the Dental School of the University of Pennsylvania and obtained his American Degree. Establishing his Oral Surgery practice in Westchester in New York State he also became a member of the Oral Surgery Staff at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville rising to Director of the Department until his retirement in 1996. Dr. Reyes-Guerra is the Author of two treatises on Oral Surgery and Anesthesia as well as over forty scientific papers on those subjects. In retirement Dr. Reyes-Guerra has dedicated himself to writing historical novels of events that occurred in Central America during the period of 1933 to 1943. It is a subject he knows well as he was there. He now lives and writes on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina with his wife of 43 years, Olive. Their two sons are grown.
