About the Book

Recently widowed, Rachael and her daughter live together trying to get on with life.  It's a pleasant enough life until few moments of dozing leaves Rachael’s daughter missing.  Hope fades fast as her daughter seems unlikely to return and Rachael begins to unravel.  Until she receives a phone call from a man claiming to have her daughter.  What follows is a cat and mouse game played with a man anxious to prevent a reunion with her mother, by the death of Rachael or her daughter.  In the end it’s a single door between them.
