About the Book

It could happen to anyone: the false accusation of a disgusting crime. The accused is Woodward "Woody" Gannon, a prominent Milwaukee business executive, civic leader, decorated war veteran, husband, father and grandfather. One evening he is honored for his many contributions to his community and industry. Next morning he is arrested, charged with sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy. Legal consequences are secondary. For a man of Gannon´s stature, the case is tried in the newspaper and on TV news. His salvation is a scraggly street person, a ghost from the frozen hills of North Korea, with vindicating evidence and a terrible secret. Gannon´s life is changed forever. For better or worse? You decide.
