Soft Whisper From A Quiet Heart

About the Book

These stories range from the early eighties and include the one story that I STILL consider to be my best ever:  “Soft Whisper From A Quiet Heart.” That story deals with verbal abuse, and a hint of domestic violence though there isn’t any physical abuse. Then again isn’t verbal abuse in a relationship, considered to be part of domestic violence?  Yes it is. What made me write that story?  I was married at the time, and my wife was reading a magazine and she said I want you to enter this writing contest. Of course I did not win, and looking back on it I did not prepare it professionally and it lacked that professional appearance. For years I had misplaced it but fortunately I found it one day, and I re typed it and re edited it. The other stories are stories that I wrote when I got home from work.  They were submitted to magazines but they were never published, that is until now.

I’ve also decided to include a recent story from 1999; it is called “A Realization Of An Awakening Spirit".  It is a story about someone who realizes what a mistake she made when she let someone special leave her life; in other words, never let the one you love, get away.  Thank you for reading my stories.  And the stories begin…
