About the Author

At our holiday gatherings, we reminisce our past. Humorous family incidents are recalled, but certain favorites are told year after year. It was not until the last couple of years, that I’d considered preserving some of our memories through poetry. I had written a few poems for friends and composed a collection of holiday memories, for my family. The poetry was received with such enthusiasm, that I then decided to write this book. My four girls were involved in such a variety of activities, at least once. They all played different sports and were involved in scouts, dance, cheer, music, church…and trouble. I have a garage full of their memories and an endless source of stories. Now with my grandchildren, the cycle has started again. Through their experiences, escapades and situations, I hope to continue to preserve some of their memories as well. Jane Andersen
