About the Author

William K. Vogeler is a lawyer by day and an amateur astronomer by night. Mr. Vogeler has no formal education in astronomy, but he believes his legal training has helped him understand astronomy, which he says in Greek means: “the law of the stars.” A former professor of law, Mr. Vogeler taught at three universities, including Chapman University School of Law, Cal State Fullerton and La Verne University. A prolific writer, he published hundreds of articles in legal journals, including the ABA Journal, the California Lawyer, the San Francisco Banner Daily Journal, the Los Angeles Daily Journal and the Orange County Lawyer. As a lecturer on the history of astronomy, Mr. Vogeler has spoken at events hosted by national and international organizations, including Meade Instruments Corporation, Astronomy without Borders and the Orange County Astronomer’s Club. He has published a series of articles on gravity theory in Astronomy Magazine, Sirius Astronomer and Academia Wikia. In An Amateur Astronomer’s Guide to Gravity, Mr. Vogeler offers a brief history of astronomy and his unique theory of gravity.
