About the Book

Another Light explores two ways of seeing, the visual and the creative. Out of the temperate forest wilderness and second growth farms Larry Richardson creates these evocative photographs of nature. In response, poet Charles Butterfi eld fi nds in the images windows opening to memories renewed, lessons learned and dreams dreamed. The arts of photography and poetry work together here in creative synergy that pleases the eye and expands the spirit.

About the Author

Award-winning photographer Larry Richardson travels throughout New England and Appalachia capturing wilderness scenes and displaying his photographs at fine art events. He has published illustrated articles in Nature Photographer. His images appear in calendars and datebooks. He lives in Vernon, Vermont. Charles Butterfield graduated from Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School of English and has been a participant in the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. His poems have appeared in small press publications, including The Lyric, The Aurorean, Red Owl and Four Quarters. He lives in Hinsdale, New Hampshire
