About the Author

Lila wrote her first poem when she was in the sixth grade. It was read to an audience of parents at a Flag Day ceremony on the school playground. Encouraged by teachers, she continued to write in high school. Marriage and two sons, followed by three grandchildren filled her life until her husband passed away. Then she picked up her pen and began to fill these pages.
