The Dark Within

About the Book

A collection of poems that describe the author’s feelings and thoughts about the world he lives in, people that have been in his life and experiences he has had through that life. Most of the poetry is laced with profanity and reflects the dark thoughts and feelings of the author, his only means of expressing himself.

About the Author

Born in Brisbane, Queensland, Daniel Krause is an average Australian bloke, working full time at a company called Aristopet, he is just a simple storeman trying to make ends meet. His teenage years were difficult and filled with torment and after he finished school, before he met his wife the strain of the real world took its toll. Now, married with two children, Daniel has discovered he suffers from Bipolar and battles to get through the day sometimes as the world around him becomes more difficult to live in. To help with his illness he used poetry to express his feelings, creating his first book ‘The Dark Within’.
