About the Book

ATTITUDES AND MIND SETS ... THAT BRING CHRISTIANS PEACE, JOY, AND VICTORY, is actually a Bible Study to show what is available to Christians, and how to access it. Over half of the book is actually quoted Scripture, and each chapter ends with a set of review questions to cause the reader to draw conclusions about what he has read. Having been a born-again Christian for 67 years, and been a church member and regular attender of all that time, the author has been very disappointed with the church's ineffectiveness in training Christians in how to live the life that Jesus the Christ, their Savior, provided for them. Changing churches many times in an effort to find a church that did an effective job in doing this, proved to be frustrating. This book shows with quoted Scripture the great volume of benefits available to the Christian who will take the time to study the Bible and do what the Bible says to do to receive these benefits. The book comes after 44 years of serious Bible study, and a lifetime of church attendance and membership. The author challenges the reader to take personal responsibility for his own Christian experience rather than depend on the church to do it for him. The church can help, but it will never replace the great benefit of spending an hour or two a day in serious Bible Study

About the Author

Rev. Ron Ely is a missionary to Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Ghana West Africa. His missionary journeys began after the age of 70. God has blessed this man of God with wonderful health. Soon after his realization for the call to missions, he met Pastor Cebien Alexas, from Cap Haitian, Haiti. Pastor Cebien is founder and director of E.B.A.C., which has 176 churches in Haiti and Dominican Republic, many with private schools. Rev. Ely is in Haiti frequently working with Pastor Cebien and teaching at his annual Pastor’ Conference. This is his first book, and it has been translated into Spanish and Haitian Creole. His vision for the people of God is to bring them to understanding of what the word of God can truly do in the life of the believer. His teachings are based on understanding the revelations of God and not the traditions of denominations. His belief is that the word of God is an untapped natural resource, just waiting for eager disciples to unlock. Rev. Ely walks by faith. His ministry is financed by the love gifts of other believers. Rev. Ely is ordained as a minister of the gospel with Faith Builders International Conference, and is Foreign Missions Director of F.B.I.C.
