About the Author

The author, William Morgan, was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1930’s. He spent his early years in Baton Rouge. He dropped out of school in the 9th grade and worked for the Caurso Brothers grocery. During the summer he worked at LSU where he met one of the most descent individuals, Mr. John Paul Jones, who treated the summer workers with the most respect. While working for the Caurso Brothers delivering groceries on a bicycle he decided to return to school because he was tired of working for $19 per week. He completed his high school education and part of his freshman year in college before leaving again to attend Barbering School. After completing this program he returned to college and received his degree. He was an average student but always very determined to make something out of his life. After college he worked at a Delinquent Boys Home, a Barber Shop, co-owned a Deri-Delight and worked as a Probation Offi cer, retired and later established his own Home Improvement Co. He has since moved to Florida worked at Fl. Hospital for 5 years and retired from his second job. At age 65 he began painting with oil and acrylic paints. He also started writing this book. He hopes to publish this book before age 75 and complete 2 additional books before age of 80.
