About the Author

Richard Arthure, better known by his Buddhist name, Kunga Dawa (All-Joyful Moon), was a close student of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and was the first Westerner authorized by him to teach the Dharma. He has traveled and taught extensively throughout the US, Canada and Europe, transmitting the Buddhist and Shambhala teachings with characteristic insight and humor. Richard now makes his home in Boulder, Colorado, where he gives occasional poetry readings, rides his bike, drinks a lot of tea, and continues to relate to students.
