About the Book
The Other Side of the Desk is an accumulation of stories and personal conclusions made by a teacher with over thirtyseven years of teaching experience. Also included are stories from her years as a child-student growing up in a small town in Iowa. The stories are every teacher’s stories. Any teacher reading them might say, “Yes, that happened to me” or “Yes, I have often felt that way.” Also included in many of the stories are tips for teachers (according to N. J.).
