About the Book
NOT FEENEY AGAIN tells the story of British portrait painter Christopher Cross who is detained on his arrival at the Miami International Airport for traveling with an expired passport. When he attempts to run away, he is arrested by the FBI and subsequently charged with being Thomas Feeney, a fugitive DOD Program Analyst suspected of passing Top Secret documents to the Weather Underground in the sixties. Held in the Detention Center in Miami, Florida, Cross is determined to prove his identity in a series of Notebooks in which he speculates about the reasons behind Feeney’s disenchantment with the War in Vietnam and his defection.
