About the Book
If you read most of the material in this book, you will probably get a pretty good idea how my brain operates. While these writings will not give you a chronological view of my life, they weren’t meant to do so. I will leave that for a biography or eulogy. A biography or eulogy this isn’t. Those will have to wait until another day and another writer. But really, this is me.
About the Author
William Plumer Jacobs, III, is a retired business man who, with his wife Erna, lives in Clinton, S. C. Jacobs was born in Clinton and has spent most of his life there with the exception of four years in the US Army during World War II and two years in New York as General Manager of America Lawn Tennis Magazine. In 1972, in anticipation on his retirement years he took up Art, specifically Watercolor. Then, remembering his college days when he gained a major in English he began to write poetry. Although he edited a history of Laurens County, S. C. and was advisor to other such efforts, this is his first book.
