About the Book
The author turned his forty-five years of experience in education into a qualitative study about public school administration from the building principal’s perspective. About the Author
Dr. Wallace D. Campbell has a broad base of educational and administrative experiences pre-kindergarten through adulthood including: teacher, assistant principal, principal, curriculum director, superintendent of a children's home, and special education. He has worked with the Montgomery County Career Center and the Greene County Career Center in his positions in Montgomery and Greene Counties, Ohio. His educational career spans the years 1963-2009. His educational training includes; Bachelor of Science in Education, Master of Education, Educational Specialist and Doctor of Philosophy in Education. He holds the following professional certificates: Superintendent, High School Principal, Science Comprehensive, Educable Mentally Retarded, and Adult Services Manager III MR/DD. Dr. Campbell is a member of the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators and the National Association of Secondary School Principals. At the time this book was written, he was employed as the principal of Greeneview High School in Jamestown, Ohio. Dr. Campbell has published a plethora of articles in educational journals and he has published six books.
