About the Book

EVERY THING BEGINS with the Word of God. God speaks everything into existence. With God Word and deed go together. Whatever God says, He does. When God said: “Let there be light”, there was light. God’s Word is powerful. His Word can lift up or bring down. His Word is never weak or wavering. His Word is truthful and trustworthy. When God speaks, something happens. I have heard God speak to me seven times. This is a personal story of my life and ministry with particular focus on my reaction to the seven times I know that God spoke to me.

About the Author

Dr. William H. Goddard is a retired American Baptist Pastor who has served churches in Florida, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois and California. He holds the BA degree from the University of Denver, the Master of Divinity (M.Div) degree and the Masters of Sacred Theology (STM) degrees from Yale University Divinity School; his Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) was earned at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. He is the author of "Wonderful Words of Life" and "The Seven Voices of God. He is married to his wife, Beverly, with whom he has two daughters and five grandchildren. The Goddards have retired from the pastoral ministry and are now living in Florida.
