About the Author Rev. Dr. Carrie L. Thomas Born in the rural area of Kenbridge, Virginia, the fourth child among nine children. She moved to Stamford, Connecticut. After graduating from Lunenburg High School in Victoria, Virginia, Dr. Thomas went to Norwalk Community College, where she took general studies, then attended Southern Connecticut State University, where she studied liberal arts. While attending, she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and continued her studies at the United Christian International Institute. God spoke to Dr. Thomas and told her to start a ministry. She was licensed and ordained by the United Christian Church in Cleveland, Tennessee. There she received an honorary doctorate degree from President Rev. Dr. H. Richard Hall in 1984. Dr. Thomas has received many dreams, visions, and visitation from angels since 1973 Dr. Carrie Thomas and her husband Dr. Alfred Thomas Sr. are the proud parents of three children—Alfred Jr., Maxine, and Zina. They are also the grandparents of four boys and four girls. They are great-grandparents to one boy and three girls.
