The issues we face in our global society, makes it important that educators given authority to help children understand and appreciate not only their own, but also other cultures. Multicultural Stories is a book in which basic concepts of culture, geography, economics, and political structures are applied as children read imaginary characters, similarities and differences in a variety of communities.
About the Author
James H. Branch, the author of the book Multicultural Stories obtained a B.S. degree from New Paltz University and a M.S.A. from Pepperdine University in Malibu California. He also attended Buffalo University School of Law. He taught for the LAUSD in LA California, N.Y.C Bd. of Education and The Yonkers Bd. of Education. He also has a daughter and granddaughter by Suzanne Finney, the daughter of the former associate editor of Fortune Magazine Paul B. Finney.
