About the Book

A young girl loses her father while he is serving in the war. While she tries to understand the concept of "passing away", she discovers a way to become even closer to her father. The journey takes you through the mourning and sorrow a child feels when they lose a parent.

About the Author

Jane Valentin was born in the small town of Corinth, NY. From the time she was six years old, she used her imagination to create a fantasy world. By the age of ten, she was busily writing in her journal to capture all of her thoughts and ideas, and recapturing stories that her family had shared; stories that today, she continues sharing with her 3 daughters and 5 grandsons. This is her first children’s book. There are no limits to your imagination. Watch and listen to everything – you’ll be surprised at what you can think up!
