In The Garden

About the Book

Life is imperfect. At best, we work hard in life to accomplish things in order to eviscerate these imperfections. But if we are not careful to discover who and whose we are, we will continue in this vicious cycle of accomplishing things instead of relationships. “In The Garden” is an expressive array of poetry which seeks to inspire people during imperfect times. The exclusivity of this poetry stresses tangible shifting from natural paradigms to natural phenomena. It also draws distinction between paradigms and phenomena in the spiritual realm as well as the natural realm. This is done with the hope of bringing realization to the fact that life (In The Garden) is, and has always been, about relationships among people.

About the Author

About the Author Adrian R. Johnson (A.R. Johnson) is a native of Gary, Indiana and a resident of San Antonio, Texas. He is the first of nine children born to Valla Johnson and the late Dewite Johnson. Currently, he is an Active Duty Soldier in the United States Army. His future goals are to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the U.S. Army. Adrian is a Christian and a member of Oak Hills Church in San Antonio. His hobbies include spending time with his family, exercising and jogging, playing and watching sports, writing poetry and serving in his community. Adrian currently authors three books of poetry titled Life Speaks…What is it saying to you?; In The Garden; Winter Moments…Summer Dreams; and a children’s book titled Daddy, Do It Again. He and his wife Dina have been married for over 20 years and they have 5 children.
