About the Author

I was born May 26, 1958 in Paterson, New Jersey to John H. Dennison Sr. and Gladys A. Dennison. In June 1967, my mother died and I raised by my uncle (my pops) Duck S. Singletary and my aunt Annie Ruth Singletary (my momma) in Abbottsburg, N.C. I begin to write after the death of my mother Gladys Dennison for in my writings I found peace. My words however and the ability to use them I feel is a gift from God. I write now in hopes that my words will one day inspire some one else and know that words are truly a powerful source for us to have to use. My writing through the years has been a form of therapy to help me in my time of need in being able to cope with whatever circumstances life presents us with.
