About the Book

Better Not Blink is a collection of poetry that reflects on the passing of time and what we can learn from it if we are paying attention. It is a personal account of the author’s continuing efforts to stay alert and connected to what life is trying to teach us. She sees and describes messages found in nature, personal relationships, and ordinary daily events. This is her first volume of poetry.

About the Author

Lydia Caros is a pediatrician and has been working with Native Americans in Minneapolis, MN for 28 years. She is the director and one of the founders of the Native American Community Clinic since 2003. She is a member of the Twin City’s Friends Meeting (Quakers) in St Paul. Lydia was born and raised in New Hampshire and returns for a visit every October. She is married and has two daughters in college.
