About the Author

David H. Westphal has been a Lutheran parish pastor for over twenty-five years. A graduate of the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Pastor Westphal also holds a Bachelor Degree from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, and an Associate Degree in Architecture from the Williamsport (PA)Area Community College. He also has completed certificate programs in Formative Spiritual through the Epiphany Academy in Pittsburgh, PA and in church leadership from the Hall of Church Leadership, Cambridge, England. Pastor Westphal currently serves a church in Wheeling, West Virginia, where he lives with his wife Beth and son Aaron. He collects maps and is an avid lover of trains.
