About the Mage’s Daughter
By Leslie Kennedy
Having a bad day? Wake up not knowing who you are, where you are, or the language of the person around you.
Then just as you are getting comfortable with the language and the routine of the way of life around you, your only link with wherever you are is wounded and locked inside her cottage, and it is set on fire and once the people who have done this leave you have no choice but to go to her, and the man who was trying to save her, rescue. Oh I forgot you only look to be about nine and the man is in full armor.
So is your day better than hers? If not make sure you get plenty of rest so you have a fresh mind for what faces you tomorrow, and stay alert for whatever is left of today!
About the Author
What has made me a writer a teller of tells? A love of stories starting as a child listening to the stories my father would tell us, and then after I learned how to read worlds opened up to me: biographies, mysteries, romances, westerns, fantasy/science fiction, straight science fictions, and combined categories, I always thought westerns and science fiction had a lot in common. I have always invented stories for myself, and my brothers, but after I baby sat my brothers and a couple of younger cousins and they had terrifying nightmares my mother prohibited me from every telling them stories again and by brothers never asked for another. Finally after reading and making up thousands of tales, and I only put up with a high quality tale I decided it was time to share.
