About the Book

Ricky and Rocky, two raccoon kids, watched as their mother of a year walked away. Instinctively, they knew it was time for them to go out on their own. They crept slowly, afraid to be alone, away from the protection and security that their mother gave them. A group of coyote ran by about five hundred yards away. Both of them shrunk back into the high grass, but the animals passed without seeing the young raccoons.
