About the Book

The Cupid Side of Me is a collection of love poems that I have written over the years; some to women that I’ve courted and some written just in general. My aim in putting this book together is to cover the subject of love from different points of views and scenarios, from relationships, looking for love, finding love, losing love, and seeing love. These poems are from my imagination, personal experiences, and observations.

About the Author

Born and raised on Chicago’s north-west side; he began writing after reading poetry found on a used computer that his mother purchased for the household. After years of writing he put together some of what he created and came up with a pen name “Urbane Sleek” in hopes to inspire with his poetry the same way that he was inspired by 4 poems left on a sold computer by a stranger.
