Sammy Explores Charlotte, North Carolina

About the Book

Sammy’s Big Adventure series continues in Book 3 with Sammy and his parents visiting Sammy's cousin Adam and his family in the beautiful city of Charlotte, North Carolina. They enjoy Sammy's favorite breakfast before touring the Queen City. They head to uptown Charlotte to explore and learn the history of the city. They also visit the Belk Theater, the Mint Museum Randolph, and tour the Billy Graham Library. In addition, Sammy, Adam, and the family find the Charlotte Motor Speedway and Lake Norman to learn and explore these fantastic places. Then, they eat at Hungry Howie is Pizza, and call it a day. Sammy thanks Adam for a wonderful day in the city and he says, “I'll always remember Charlotte.” Sammy says good night to his friends and his parents before turning in, all the while thinking of his next Big Adventure.

About the Author

Pete Mravetz is the author of Sammy’s Big Adventure Series for children. His first book was Sammy’s Super Safari, and his second book has been completed as A Day in the Park, and his third book Sammy Explores Charlotte, NC. A cat lover, Pete is devoted to presenting good family values in his books and providing an honored place for his favorite pet Sammy. Sammy is no longer with us, but his memory lives on in the series and future writing endeavors. He and his wife Arianne live in Charlotte, NC since September 2013 and was inspired to write his third book because of the wonderful city. He and his wife plan to retire in North Carolina and create more children’s books full of fun, education and family values.
