About the Author
Regina Ryerson-Lindsay a.k.a. Regi Lindsay Del Mar in San Diego California is now my home. Born and raised the youngest of six in a little corner of Whitestone Queens, New York called Beechhurst I discovered the art of rhyming from Dr. Seuss as a young child. I began writing poems as a kind of Diary in Code, that few would learn the true meaning of. I found that if you put whatever life challenges you with to paper, then to rhyme, you clearly thought about it long and hard enough to turn the page and move on from it. Most times. My mother told me I was destined to write children’s books. And although my ultimate goal is to be recognized as a professional lyricist, I have written two Children’s Books that will be published this year. I only wish Mom was still here to see me follow that through. But, sadly, she passed away in 2016. At this moment, my heart goes out to the so very many we lost in this crazy time of Corona Virus Covid-19. And, If my words could bring even the smallest amount of comfort to just one person suffering from heartbreak over losing a loved one, then this little endeavor of mine has been a successful one.
