About the Book

Miss AL Mousa aspires to create worksheets, and activity workbooks that help the learner gain lifelong lessons and experiences extracted directly from the Holy Quran. Fadwa AL Mousa’s workbooks share her insights and reflections about the Holy Quran and invite the readers to do the same. Quran memorization is one of the goals of her workbooks. However, understanding the simple meanings of the words of God and implementing them in each learner’s life are important goals as well. The workbooks are designed as valuable resources for both individual learners and teachers of the Holy Quran.

About the Author

Fadwa AL Mousa is a lifelong student and learner of the Holy Quran and is a veteran chemistry and science teacher with eleven years of in classroom teaching experience. She is also a certified Medical Technologist (American Society for Clinical Pathology- general laboratory certification-MT, ASCP) working for a major Washington D.C. Hospital for the past thirteen years. During which she performed diagnostic testing and trained many laboratory science students to become certified laboratory professionals. Her teaching experience is diverse and includes middle school, high school, and college level chemistry and general science courses. Currently and in addition to her work at the hospital, she teaches the Holy Quran part time at a local Islamic Center in Virginia, U.S.A. As a visual learner herself, she uncovers a new way to look at the Holy Quran education for all types of learners including non-Arabic speaking learners, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. She is also interested in classroom management challenges especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. As the number of non-Arabic speaking learners of the Holy Quran increases as we face the overwhelming need for a new approach and new teaching resources.

“I have chosen to write this workbook to inspire others to try a new approach to learn and teach the Holy Quran and understand it’s simple meanings. I had much joy creating this workbook and looking forward to creating many more for the many different chapters of the Holy Quran. Process improvement is a principle that I have learned in Health Care and now live by when it comes to creating new content. Please joint me on this journey to learn the word of God one workbook at a time”
