About the Book

Jennifer Simon thought she met the love of her life, Andre Washington, when he walked into her life. Jennifer just knew that God was giving her a second chance at true love again, but deep down she feels that Andre isn’t telling her the whole truth about who he really is. Jennifer has to learn that just because a person comes in your life doesn’t mean they’re meant to stay. Andre tries to convince Jennifer that he’s not the monster she thinks he is and to give him a chance to prove it to her, but his actions speak louder than his words. Jennifer just wants to see the person he claims to be, but she’ll soon find out everything he doesn’t want her to know about himself. The only question she is faced with now is can she deal with all the lies and drama, or is it too much for her to handle and decides to walk away from it all?

John D. McCray is a 44-year old African American born and raised in Alcolu, South Carolina. He now resides in North Carolina, and works with adults with disabilities and special needs. John has been writing for over thirty years and is the author of “Who Am I,” “When the Mask Comes Off,” “My Winning Season,” and “Don’t ask, Don’t Tell.” John enjoy taking you on an adventure through your imagination with his creative characters.
