Melchizedek

The Creator Angels of the universe, looking down on the Planet Earth saw the backward slide of the races of man and knew of the imminent arrival of a Son of God, but they did not know how soon this would occur. They convened in solemn council and petitioned the Higher Spirits of the universe for some action to be taken towards maintaining the light of truth alive until the arrival of the Son of Heaven. They received word that they should continue to uphold truth until the arrival of the Son of God. It was because of this that Melchizedek, a powerful Angel, was selected to become man and set up a center of learning in Palestine to be known as the City of Jebus, now known as Jerusalem.
