About the Author

Jack spent 3 years in the USMC and served with the 1st Marine Division in Korea, 1951-52. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, University of Nevada, Reno (UNR); a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, University of Southern California (USC); and an Associate of Arts Degree, College of Marin. He was a Project Engineer at the Naval Weapons Center, China Lake, California for 14 years where he worked on several projects, published two mathematics handbooks, and was granted eight U.S. Patents. Interests include airshow management, inventing, aviation, Kriegsmarine history, Ham radio (WB6WGX), and assorted hobbies. He is a member of the Western Aerospace Museum, Association of Naval Aviation, Marine Corps Memorial Club, Navy League, and a Plank Owner on the USS Hornet. Presently, he is a commercial real estate broker in the San Francisco Bay Area and holds GRI and CRS designations.
