About the Book

There are few words that a poet would use to say how he/she feels. Speaking from the Poet’s view, I would say life is all that we have in this world. However there is another world promised to each and every one who accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior, by believing, repenting, and being baptized for our sins. He was born to die for all our sins. The strangest thing is that he did it quite well. He did not complain as we often do. He was not selfish, as sometimes we become. He did not want all the luxury things that we bother ourselves to have but we cannot take with us when we die. Oh, yes, death is certain and all of us must face that road. Robert Frost wrote a poem entitled “The Road Not Taken”. I leave this question with you; what in your life has made all the difference? In mines, it is having lived, experienced, and gained knowledge that will prepare me for something better.

About the Author

Cynthia Montgomery/ MA Organizational Management/Global Leadership I grew up in a small town filled with plantation owners and the smell of cotton. I was an only child. Because I was an only child, my life had its advantages, but I had no companions. The thrill of belonging was missing. I graduated from Drew High School and proceeded on to Alcorn State University. I have six children: (Jeremy, Darnella, Tameka, Bobby, Michael, and Kyle-who is deceased). The tragedy of my son’s death was very devastating. My life changed tremendously. I decided to further my education and pursue my career in writing. It has certainly changed my perspective on life.
