About the Author

Kimshaw Gordon resides in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and two young daughters. She is a recent graduate of ASA Institute in Brooklyn, receiving her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. One of Kimshaw’s long-term goals is to pursue a career as an attorney. Kimshaw started writing poetry at the young age of eleven. Over the years, she has discovered that it is an excellent way to express her thoughts and innermost feelings. She has embraced poetry, allowing all of us to come into her world and see things from her unique perspective.
