About the Author
Dr. Turshá Hamilton is a practicing Naturopathic Primary Care Physician licensed in the state of Arizona. As a native of New Orleans and a former resident of Memphis, two southern cities known for great food, she has a first-hand understanding of the challenges to improve health. She knows what it takes to find balance in health regarding food and everyday life. In Practically Healthy, Dr. Hamilton shares some of the insight she has gained through her personal experiences and those of her patients and clients. Dr. Turshá has hosted the radio broadcast, Men’s Health Talk, since 2009. The show deals with many different aspects of health for the entire family. Show topics have included prostate cancer, breast cancer, diabetes, vaccinations, and everything in between. She teaches various graduate and undergraduate courses in health and science. She is frequently a guest lecturer and radio show guest, and has made various television appearances teaching many topics in science, health, and wellness.
